  1. Hello, Has anyone on here any experience of the Broseley 26 ? I'm told there's a £2500 grant on them and also further payments for a few years. I would be very tempted to install one. Your help greatly appreciated Thanks
  2. Congratulations to you 's all. Lovely little bundle of joy, Wishing little Seth health and happiness.
  3. Thanks NFG Santa Claus is bringing me the 36" Sugihara bar !!
  4. Yes that would be good, think I'll use it for a while first then maybe go that way. Santa might get me a 36" Sugihara bar !!
  5. What size of guide bar you use?
  6. Just an update, Got my 3120xp sold Ordered a 390xp today with a 28" bar, ready for collection tomorrow or Friday. Husqvarna
  7. My brother has a Dmax for 2 years, he has over 30k miles on it, he really loves it, never had a problem with it, he uses it as a car so cant comment on off-road capability, its an Automatic think he's getting mid 20's mpgs, short journeys and a heavy right foot.
  8. Thanks for link and pic, Is the Sugihara bar worth £30/£40 more ? Thanks Husqvarna
  9. Do you have any knowledge of the Sugihara guide bar, I'd thought on getting a 36 " of them. Thanks
  10. Wisecobandit, I've no doubt the 395xp is a mighty good saw, I'm planning to have a run to the Husky dealer this week and have a closer look at both of them, but to date im leaning towards a 390xp, Thankfully I don't suffer from ill health, yes im a farmer boy but not quite 6'4", what you need is a big bow saw they used in the olden days and sell me that 395 at a knock down price!!! Lol. Your help greatly appreciated once again. Many thanks
  11. I had a 3120xp and sold it, I thought the 390xp would be a good all rounder for my job, the 395xp has crossed my mind but mayb it more like the 3120xp I sold. Husqvarna
  12. Yes that makes sense, thanks for that. As I'm intending to use this 390xp on a 24 / 28 and 36 (occasionally) it be more straight forward using all 3/8 chain rather than changing sprockets etc for the 36" if it was .404 chain. Thanks Husqvarna
  13. For what reason would you err with running a 3/8 on a 36" bar?
  14. Thanks for that Eddy, I will be using a Stihl chain for sure, I have priced a 390xp and it comes with a 20/24 or 28" bar, I already have a 24" so i thought of getting a 28" with it and getting 36" bar and chain on stand by for any big stuff. Thanks Husqvarna
  15. Eddy, Do you use a .404 chain when running the 36" ?
  16. Thanks for that Pete, is that with a .404 chain?
  17. Hi, What size of bar can a Husqvarna 390xp run? 28 inch seems to be the max recommended but was wondering would it run a 36".
  18. Hi, I bought a Dale Kane tipper 10 x 5' 6. Its a really good well built trailer, I got the mesh sides on it as well, I'm very happy with it, if anything it might be a bit heavy , suppose you can't have it every way. Thanks Husqvarna
  19. Husqvarna Chainsaw Guide Bar Solid bar 30"/ 75cm, 404" pitch - suitable for Model 390XP/ 395XP/ 3120XP - Chainsaw Accessories - ronsmith.co.uk This seems to be the one im after.
  20. Can anyone confirm if i can get a 30" bar for my 3120? Its a 404 pitch. I'm told its a 42, 36 and 24, before I do anything maybe a 30" bar on my 3120 would do the business.
  21. Thanks to everyone for their input and help. I think I will try to sell my 3120 xp with 42" bar, never used only started twice since I got it and go for a 390xp, it would be more suitable for my needs. Thanks Husqvarna
  22. I used coach bolts as recommended. I will hopefully get a video or pic of it in use, and if the uprights starts to spread I will try the threaded bar. Thanks Husqvarna
  23. I would love to be able to buy both saws but I wouldn't have the work for them. Does anyone own a 576? What are they like compared to the 365? Thanks Husqvarna
  24. May I just add, I have a Husqvarna 3120xp (never used as yet) so I maybe though the 390 was to similar. I was wanting something between the 365 and the 3120. Thanks for your input so far. Looking forward to hear what others think. Thanks Husqvarna
