  1. I am listed on Yell.com for my local area, but must admit that after I had signed up I got fed up wih the almost constant calls from them.
  2. I hope this link works HOME - thegreengardener
  3. Thanks to all. I did manage to find a PDF list online, but will contact the local TO to make sure. Not yet got felling license, but have got cross-cutting. Think I need to check on this a bit further.
  4. How do I find out if an area / specific tree is covered by a TPO? Ideally I would like a map covering this subject. I am based on the Essex/Suffolk border.
  5. You weren't working in North Essex by any chance? If not weirdly coincidental as I saw a team working in a cemetary near where I live the other day. Just a thought.
  6. I have been tasked with taking out some Hawthorn but looking at these posts it seems that even if cut back to stumps they will grow back, is this correct? The customer ideally wants them completely removed, but I reckon that digging them out would be a nightmare task. Advice please.
  7. Hi there, I'm new to arbtalk.....and to arboriculture. Got my cross-cutting ticket just over a week ago.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
