It's a difficult one I suppose, but not one the council are gonna spend much money on trying to prosecute imo! They don't have enough money to collect bins once a week round my area [emoji23]
Not round my Neck of Woods . ..Knowsley Borough Council will have your Balls strung up and push through Courts .

Just had a chat with my local tree officer regarding the conifer hedge and he basically said hedges are not protected in a con area
Last job I did via Tree Officer said the same BUT if they over a specific size then it's a Row of Trees .
I tried convincing the Tree Officer that this Particular Conifer hedge was planted originally a hedge screen but it got out of hand so it became under the Conservation .

It's a easy job that takes ten minutes to drill and tap the bolt .
I did my HS 45 hedge trimmer has they are a pretty useless machine when it's comes to grease has they Don't have a bearing in the crank so Grease gun is a major player lol .

I wasn't having a dig, just thought I'd question it before something happened not so fun. One last thing, buy some leather gloves (ones used on the rigs or whatever), allows for you to let the rope run through your hands without getting "warmed up" to much and gives you more control. Happy Rigging IVECOKID

All advice appreciated ....have some leather gloves but has said I avoid the bigger rigging jobs has I am a one man band , this job was a love job and I put a line in between 2 trees to to use has a washing line affect to lower the branches down off the dead tree in the middle of the 2 trees .Tree had been dead for over 5 years so very brittle so very little climbing and felling was not a option.

Yes it does .....has said first crack at it and it has sat there for 6 months now has I very rarely have a need .....it did work very well when I lowered them branches . We all make mistakes .
Thanks .

Yeah looks like he's using his own device wrong. Why have you gone back on yourself creating a tight bend?

First run with it and first time using one ....should of done more homework before using but it worked and did what I wanted to do ..provided a washing line type affect to lower a few dead branches over a garage that i was able to lower down . Life is a learning Curve .
Thanks for the tips .

watch the way you wrap the rope, as IMHO the 1st turn round the peg on the drum looks a bit tight on bend radius since its got most of the load before you loose load by friction.hope this makes sense

Freezing temperature here in Berlin today , warmed my fingers using the exhaust from the 200 t .
You Can't do that with your battery models.
That was the first thing I missed when using it in the cold , I suffer badly with 2 fingers that have been cut badly years ago so they are like blocks of ice .

Conifer hedges cut once a year , has above they get to tight and brown off . I rake them after cutting them to remove any dead ends which allows them to breathe.
Come to many Coni hedges that have browned off badly and I have raked them and they recover in time . Aphids love them when they are tight has they remain damp .

You can tit about testing it and it will be fine but under load it will fail ....try cracking the bleed screw open and turn ignition on and off a few times and it should pump fuel up .Also a relay could be at fault to but that the most unlikely sceriano.

You really need a decent air rifle and scope as rats are tough, you need to break the spine or hit them in the head to do the job, a body shot isn't good enough. Air pistols are just not accurate enough in my view!
I use wad cutter target pellets, the flat head gives a good impact!
The old BSA Scorpion was a cracking air pistol for Rats in the right hands .
