We’re using red cedar nice wood but not cheap

I bit the bullet and bought a Posch 280 iv got to say after making a stop to cut at 6 inches it is bang on and split the wood to go through a kindlet easily consistent and iv filled 8 potato boxes today in 8 hrs

This is the exact reason we’re looking at the japa 305 as the wood can be up to 11.5 inch drop in to the chamber and split into 2 or 4 then go through the kindlet ? as most people are saying anything smaller than 6 inch the knife can be removed and it doesn’t matter how it falls it when it falls and your splitting it it’s got to be precise

We have the same issue and are looking at the japa 305 for this

Hi I’m interested in people’s opinions in this machine Is there any horror story’s that need to be known

What’s sort of price should we currently be paying per ton iv been quoted £68plus vat a ton for red cedar delivered ? does that seem fair

I’m looking for a price on a artic load of pine/spruce Soft cordwood I’m based in Hertfordshire rough costs would be appreciated and quantity ideally no bigger than 10inch diameter not sure if that’s being to fussy look forward to a reply regards steve

A company called seevent will sell them but it’s a minimum order of 5000 I use them for the bags I use but have to buy 10000 at a time

What are people doing this year for wood supply I’m about 100 ton down on timber for my kindling production ?

I can imagine this has been down to death but I’m looking for around 1000 of the plastic bags with the handle in them where can I get them from this is without the wood just the empty bags can any one help regards steve

It depends what length wood you have but we saw all our wood to 6 inch and does the job real well
