  7. Sorry mate iv not had one come through. And Alec that's exactly what u was after thanks very much. Is the sugihara bar ok for both types of work as well? And I will be using that website as it seems pretty idiot proof and very helpful compared to a lot of others!

Hello, just a quickie as I know this had been asked before I just can't seem to find a definitive answer, I'm looking for a 50" (ish!) bar and chain, iv been looking at a sugihara 46" bar for milling and everyday use, what ripping chain is the most popular the stihl, oregon, or the one tha begins with g? Also full chisel, semi or micro for all round use? Or do you have more than one and change them over for different tasks? And finally has anyone used chainsawbars.co.uk? Sorry for the amount of questions!
  9. Thanks chaps that's really usefull, just got to save some pennies for a 48inch, who makes 48 inch bars that's not a hard end an would be suitable for felling/normal use as well please. Spot on info though really liking this thread
  10. Howdo, iv got a few questions. Iv just bought myself an 076a with a 36 inch bar, would it be a good idea to buy a 48 inch for milling as well? To be fair I won't have to much timber that big... Also who do you sell th milled timber to? Cheers. And I don't mind the ******* swearing

  16. Yeah why but fell on the wall in the first place as it had all the brash stripped of.... Unless he cleaned that of while sat at the top. Just the way it was sitting didn't look like a windblown

  20. Hi does anyone know if stihl still make replacement parts/parts are interchangeable with a newer saw for a 076av? Jut iv tried to find out but can't seem to find any online. Cheers
  21. With a 36 in h mill can you do 20 30 and 36 then? Pardon my ignorance just iv been looking at it too

  23. Nope, well at 150 quid a day, their not that dear, and you would be able to do it quicker saving time and theirfore money, ie it might have taken a day a tree, then do both in one day with a mewp:001_tt2:
