  1. Hi, I wonder if you can help. I'm fairly new to the arb world.... Well very new! I'm looking for tip sites near Hertford that will take branches and brash. Any help is much appreciated.
  2. Cheers mr fox. I'll have a good look whilst I'm there in that case!
  3. I am new to climbing and just passed my cs38. Is the zig zag easy to climb with? By that I mean easy to thrust up? I've looked at a few systems on you tube and I'm off to honey brothers tomorrow to buy my climbing gear. Any help appreciated!
  4. This is great information. I'm very new and just decided to read through the forum. Glad I did now!
  5. Hi, my name is Ross and Im 36. After being made redundant 6 months ago I decided to do something that I wanted to do when I left school. Tree surgery! I recently passed my cs30/31 called something long and difficult to remember now, at capel manor. I am currently in the middle of my cs38 and I'm loving it. Considering I have no climbing experience, I think I'm doing ok.... Not very quick, but I get there.... As soon as I have done the 38 I'll be booking the cs39 and then I'll be looking to gain some experience being a go for! And booking some of my own small jobs. If anyone has any advice, please feel free to offer it up! I'm loving it so far and the best part is meeting other people with experience as they seem to be very willing to help.
  6. Congrats. I'm doing my 38 this week, so far so good. I'd never climbed before and day one was tough, but once the confidence built I started loving it!
  7. Hi, i have recently passed my cs30 and cs31 city & guilds at capel manor and I have never worked in the arb industry before in my life! I am after some good books that explain different cuts with some good diagrams in them. Also a book on different tree types and what I should be looking for. I'm my exams and training I only really tried to perfect 2 technical cuts (Danish and dog tooth) but I know there are loads more out there! If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated. Regards Ross
