1. Hi guys Hoping someone can help. We cut timber for firewood only (so no felling involved). Mainly we get timber in that is up to 20inch diameter. Occasionally, we get some stuff (like beech) that is quite big - up to 2-3ft diameter. I have a husky 254xp which can deal with the small stuff; looking for the next step up for occasional use. Can anyone recommend a good saw - and more importantly, has anyone got anything to sell? Thanks in advance
2.
Foz there's quite a lot of cord down here at the moment and nice stuff it's not going to be cheep getting it up to you there at all. Here's my number 07964947272 give us a bell I'll point you in the right direction closer to home

8. Hi All, We're looking for hardwood and softwood wood - unseasoned that we can cut and split ourselves. We're based in the Burnley area, Lancashire. I've had a look at the Woodlots website but all the posts seem to be mainly from the SouthEast, making haulage costs quite expensive. We are willing to pay for haulage but ideally would like somewhere more local. Would anyone be able to point us in the right direction? Many thanks! Foze
9. Hi, Got offered this tree for Firewood from a neighbour. Can someone tell me what it is please?
10. Hi guys, Just wanted to say thank you all for your contributions. The bloke who made it was kind enough to come and fix it. It was the pump - too big. A smaller one from flowfit has done the job. Probably not giving us the tonnage we wanted but at least its working fine! Cheers

12. Hi, Never bought in cords before. So apologies if its a silly question - how many builder's bags would you expect to get from 40 ton bought as cord wood?
