  4. I think so, so top anchor for speed line, then work from the bottom?
  5. What 4 x 4s do you run mate? Plenty of L200's in my area but heard mixed reviews. How much would you look at investing in a 4 x 4? Cheers
  6. What vehicles have people started up with? Urgently need a vehicle; not sure wether to hold out for a tipper of some description or buy an entry level pick-up? Pictures are good Cheers
  7. Cool, so you just move the anchor as you work up the tree? The sycamore I'm looking at has a co-dominant leader I was thinking of anchoring into that with a main line whilst removing the adjacent leader.. hmm
  8. Cheers guys, what do you anchor to on the ground? I'm thinking of putting it on the back of my van as there are no suitable trees and controlling it. Looking forward to having a play around (y)
  9. How do people rig up their speed lines? Any advice? cheers
  10. That's perfect, HSE seem to be a good source. I'm weighing up an argument discussing the use of mychorizzal treatments as a means of biopulping or stump removal as opposed to industry standards (stump grinding). Any info on stump grinder emissions is handy. being lazy again, are their laws/limits or regulations on emissions for arb companies Thanks
  11. Nice! how did you do the lettering?
  12. Hi mate, can I have your number? will take as many as I can if thats ok..
  13. Anyone point in the direction of some plans to build a log splitter, I have a 6.5hp engine, frame and tanks sorted. Not done much with hydraulics before. Cheers
  14. after a more reliable source to be honest,
  15. Does anyone know where I can find information on emissions in Arb industry? Many thanks,
  16. Does anyone know if companies exist that both consult and perform the tree works..? Just doing some primary research for an assignment.
  17. Do complete climbing kits exist/are they worth it? Alternatively, best harnesses and ropes on a budget..
