  1. I have the the treejack and thought i was getting a bargin, sliding d and teufelberger build quality. Ive found it fine on short climbs but spend any long periods in it and its very uncomfortable, Ive adjusted it numerous times to try and get the leg loops more comfortable, but it is a cheap harness thin padding and not the best ergonomics, Id say save up and get a tree motion the most comfortable and work friendly harness I've used.
  2. How narrow are your gates? just standard 12ft? if so I would recommend a proper sized tractor like a JD 6110 or similar its small enough to get to most places, its hydraulics would cope with anything you wanted, you could tow a fair size trailer. Theres a couple on farmtrader with loaders for reasonable money.
  3. we only used it because we were dismantling beside a reservoir and it sped the job up no end.
  4. its a bit like a hobbs block but lifts a lot more with a lot less effort. have fun it makes rigging so much easier in the right situation.
  5. yes, absolute winner i think they're ce marked now aswell.
  6. ive got a 18in sugihara on mine, its spot on can't fault it. so much better than oregon imo.
  7. haha fair one, theres a big black one in the first photo. And ive seen a few limited edition coloured ones so green isn't such a giveaway anymore.
  8. wasn't my saw, but it seemed to handle it quite nicely.
  9. yep old style 930. had a sets of front weights either side of a big winch on the front.
  10. 362 is pants avoid it at all costs. heard good things about the 441 but they're just as fragile as any husky, my mate has a 560 and runs a 20in bar,he's fairly abusive on his saws and it was surviving nicely until the point it got stolen.
  11. 12. Bumped into Rob D at the show and he wanted added publicity so heres some haha , saw his winch setup in action and I'm definitely going to adopt it, so smooth and even and no effort involved. IMG_0225 by YOGI......, on Flickr also he had his 090 there and i had too drool over that weapon IMG_0228 by YOGI......, on Flickr
  13. If all of your work atm doesn't have the need for a 4wd vehicle, Id sway away from getting one, they are more expensive to run and fix, carry less and stand out like a sore thumb when overloaded, have you looked into improving access to dump site. Some crushed concrete or rubble is far cheaper and you won't need a 4x4 to drive over it.
  14. Ive had no issues with mine, threw it in the deep end and its just kept on surprising me on the seemingly no end of power, got a sugihara 18in bar on it now and handles it brilliantly. Just don't run it dry autotune hates that.
