Looking for unprocessed firewood close as possible to the Scarborough, North Yorkshire area. Used to purchase from FC but change of rules I can't do this anymore. Used to buy approx 16T at a time for personnal use. Any suggestions???? Many thanks in advance

I'm in Scarborough North Yorks and I am looking to either hire a firewood processor or buy a cheap second hand one if there is such a thing. Have about 17.5 tonne of softwood for use at home, previously I just cut with a chainsaw and split using an electric hand splitter. However it's quite time consuming. Only have access to a compact tractor so prob best to have a petrol driven set. Many thanks for any help.

If 4wd drive light is flashing crawl under and find the actuator nod the back in the middle of the front axle. Pull the cover back and spray with wd40. Also check the pipes they sometimes split near the actuator.

Hi, what's the going rate for softwood split delivered for a loose load in a double cab pickup? Newbie on the site just trying to establish the going rate. Many thanks
