  1. Once again guys, to know that we all feel the same about the parasites that prey on us is comfort in itself and your good wishes are very much appreciated. KEEP an eye on your kit at all times, they are just waiting to pounce !
  2. Machine has now been recovered thanks to an honest anonymous caller. Back on ebay item number 190893462457 there is hope after all. Many thanks for all the messages of support on this occasion the score is: Scum: Nil the honest contractors: Back of the net !!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. With the amount of dust particles from chippers, shredders, grinders and saws that we all breath in (mostly containing microscopic fungal spores) it is no wonder we cough, hack and splutter our way through our careers. A dust mask is also not any easy or practical item to don during the day. I have been on the amoprazole for years and if I come off it for a while it is as if someone has lit a fire in my chest, would suggest you stay on them.
  4. GENUINE £4000 CASH REWARD FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO THE SAFE RETURN OF THIS MACHINE AND TRAILER TIMBERWOLF TR150V AND BRIAN JAMES TRAILER(NO QUESTIONS ASKED) You can disclose information anonymously through crimestoppers or on 999 or 101 or ring me directly on 07543 190758. Machine was 'purchased' using a fake bankers draft and delivered to Sutton Coldfield/Coleshill area in the midlands. Machine is registered stolen with the police, Timberwolf and is on the stolen plant register, therefore of no use to a legitimate trader. STOLEN ITEM ON EBAY ITEM ID 190893462457 . NICE SUM OF MONEY TO RECEIVE FOR VERY LITTLE EFFORT AND ALSO TO HINDER THE PARASITES THAT KEEP KNICKING OUR KIT

  6. I have no problem quoting serial numbers on equipment I have for sale and our local chainsaw dealer (Gustharts) will not service or supply parts for any equipment that does not have a serial number, and good on them for doing so. It is a pity that others do not follow suit. As for manufacturers, a stolen machine is usually another sale, so why close down that window of opportunity. There is no easy answer. Deals done in lay byes, on mobiles only or where any hint of dodginess is suspected need to be avoided like the plague ( I know only too well from painful experience in the past). An honest bod will have no bother with giving all his details and transacting the deal at his premises/house from where he operates a bon fide business.
  7. Climbing and dismantling a very awkward mature Beech always sobered me up fairly quickly! A rapid pulse usually clears out the alcohol before 10:00 am
  8. The scum are always out their hounding the honest hardworking contractor. Scum, however, always rises to the surface eventually and if he is not caught, will spend his time on earth looking over his shoulder !, what a way to live a life !!. Sorry to hear that you have been shafted, I know how it feels and I hope you get it back.
  9. I have had an anonymous call about this machine advising me that it has been bought buy a contractor and is in his yard, possibly still in the Midlands. What use a stolen chipper (or any other bit of kit) is to a legitimate contractor baffles me !, but then again a legitimate trader wouldn't go anywhere neared knicked kit in the first place. I am willing to pay a very good sum for the return of this machine to the person who can either get it back to me, or preferably advise the police where it is. If you would rather not disclose your identity to the police (for fear of reprisals) then you can inform anonymously either on 101, 999 or crime stoppers. Contact me for your reward, £2000, paid to you personally once the machine is either back in my possession or recovered by the police
  10. Thanks for all your messages of support. You would think that having started and run Orange Plant for many years that I would have seen every trick in the book. Obviously NOT. Business MUST to a high degree rely on trust and when you get stitched up it knocks your faith in human kind sideways, which is a great pity because there surely are more decent guys out there that the sort of scum who go round preying on honest hard working people and companies ? Having your kit stolen is not only financially damaging and emotionally distressing, it seriously affects your business and could even put you out of the game. Money is hard earned in the tree world as we all know so try to learn from my mistake. Keep a close eye on your gear, NEVER accept a bankers draft. Cash or cleared funds only.
  11. Thanks for your message of support Johny. Long time no see. Hope all is well at your end. As you will have guessed, I am back in the chipper market again, so if you have any requirements give me a call. Best Wishes. David
