  1. If I hear of anything I'll message you. Not sure how much a timber lorry holds but if we find something I'll be interested in going half a on a bigger load
  2. Hi does any one deliver around North Wales, I'm just outside Denbigh. Looking to buy 10 possibly 15 tonne of softwood cord. If anyone has anything please inbox me with what you have. Ideally start of march
  3. Will you be at the wood fest in North Wales this year?
  4. I have a swing lift fitted to a trailer, plugs in to my lady. Can lift 1/2 tonne but I had to reinforce my trailer & add support legs
  5. Just what I was after. Thanks for taking the time to respond
  6. We have a new lad starting and I've been told if I put L plates on he can tow if I'm in the passenger seat is this correct? He holds B but not B+E. Thanks in advance
  7. Stunning work, love the dining table. You have great skills
  8. We asked for a 55tonne crane but because of the wind & reach of the boom they sent us a 100tonne. We payed 800 plus vat & we collected the sleepers for his legs. Makes sense with the chains, really took it out of me wrapping them around the stems plus it snowed all day & my fingers we're freezing which didn't help.
  9. Yeah the first 1, took about a 2 tonne piece out of the top but had a little too much tension in the crane. The tree cracked open a lot earlier than I expected and gave me proper disco legs. Found taking the tops out a lot worse than the stem. The stem was fine, had some nice big lifts. One thing that took it out of me was them crane chains, there so heavy lol. Thanks again for all the tips and support, I have my next crane dismantle 17th April so looking forward to that. The bottom piece I plan to mill and will be my new coffee table.
  10. Just to let you know the job went well today, my biggest piece was 3.5t. Had it down in 3 hrs. Thanks for all the advice really helped me Hopefully have some pics to post later in the week
