  2. I thought £65 a bit cheap ?? some around charging £90+ im £80! maybe bullbars not such a good idea they look nice though i thought ?
  3. Hi All, As in my other thread just bought a new pick up truck ford ranger thunder, I will post some pics when its deliverd and have the bull bars fitted. Just a thought how much should i charge for a load of logs say up to top of main truck ? mine has the extra back on so will keep em all dry. By the way am up against the £65 a builders bag brigade so have to be competative but im not giving my logs away to much hard work for that, As people who sell at the right price and quality will know.cheers karl:001_smile:

  6. Yeah it was the mpg that did it for me , the others were awfull, plus easier engines to maintain ? im not going to be towing all that much , im just small scale fuel merchant so load capacity was brilliant for me.
  7. Hi all , Just bought myself a new pick up, deliberated long and hard over what to get L200, Navara, Izuzu, Hilux so on so on. It had to be multi purposeful vehical. Milage and fuel economy was a major issue with all of them. Scanned the internet for 3 days Ebay, Autotrader bloody nightmare. As it happens my misses goes shopping 5 miles down the road and low and behold theres a truck Ford Ranger 50000 miles got it for £9000 bargain. And i love it .just goes to show internet aint be all and end all. Any one got a Ranger ? mines a 58 plate thunder ?

I had a load of ash given to me with loads of i think are woodworm holes, The ash was outside for 18 months stacked up.I was concerned about selling due to the holes but was informed that the only time the larvae are present is between the months of may and june . And the holes are where the woodworm makes its way out Is that correct ?

  13. Hi Phil, I have a mitox log splitter not a chainsaw , its ok for what i need . But the chainsaw i would recomend is crazy cheap .

  21. Hi all, Dont get a lot of time to post on here , but i thought out of interest? what people have cooked on there log burners ? I have just had one installed and am amazed by the heat output, so i cooked my tea on it sausage and eggs . Im sure somebody has been a little more imaginative ? power cuts bring um on
