  1. Hi I wonder if anyone has one of the Rock Machinery 22 Ton Towable Splitters in the Norfolk/Suffolk area that I could look at or see working please??
  2. Yes I meant bigger body and heavy duty springs = Less payload.
  3. Surely if it's got an extended body and up rated springs, its payload must be done to about 1250 kegs max??? Even 5 bags of well seasoned softwood must weigh that....
  4. Hi, as others have mentioned a lot depends on where your using it. Stony ground is a right pain for .22 using subsonics, you will get ricochets, and they can go in any direction. However with a good moderator on they're virtually silent, and very efficient on the bunnies out to 75/80 yards. Range estimation gets more important beyond that. If you're needing a bit more range, Hmr is the way to go. Very flat shooting, so more forgiving on getting the distance exact. However quite noisy especially at night. A .22 Fac air rifle can be very effective up to similar distances to a .22 rimfire without the ricochets. 9 times out of 10 the Hmr is my go to rifle of choice. Have all 3 and have been shooting for 40+ years.
  5. Have a look at the Collino Saw Benches from Oak Leaf Forestry. We run a Pto driven one and find it ok for what we need. Made in Italy I believe.
  6. Found this link on the chain, where it's been joined? although it moves freely and doesn't seem out off line I'm guessing this is the problem.
  7. Hi Guys, thanks for all the help so far. Away from home for a few days now so can't check anything else till weekend. When I put the new chain on, it's tight to pull round by hand. Old chain moves freely.
  8. Ok what it says on bar is .325 1.6mm 0.063 68 link.
  9. 325, when off the info on the bar. Yes bar grooves all clean.
  10. I don't think so, it's meant to be the correct chain, 1.6mm.
  11. Hi all, wonder if someone can point me in the right direction here. Fitted a new chain to my MS 251 and it runs fine for about 30 seconds or so, then it jams in the bar. Saw is oiling fine, it's meant to be a genuine Stihl chain, thought bar was past its best so tried a new bar as well, same thing happens. Put old chain on and runs fine. Confused .com???
