  1. thanks all.

gardenmac - top website that. Cheaper than Jonsie! Made my order as I've got the saw attachment already and a few other heads for the smaller hand tool range. Not worried about using it off the ground as I don't climb :o)

Glad to be of help, I use mostly Wolf for gardening. Hope you ordered the rope tie as they are really handy at stopping the cord getting snagged up. I have two on the 4m pole and then simply swap em if using shorter pole. Enjoy.

  2. Been using the pro loppers n pruning saw for three years now and they have been superb, still sharp n cut through hefty branches no probs. Use mine on a 4m pole. Bought them from World of Wolf web site, cheaper than the Wolf Garten site and often has offers on loppers and pole or saw n pole.

  3. Two things I use are a snow shovel n large plastic grass rake for picking up. If the client doesn't want to pay to dispose and if it will fit in the green bin I use the mulch mower to reduce the cuttings down to nowt to fit in the bin.

    Tarps are a time saver.

  4. I realise you guys all use Avon So Soft to prevent insect bites. (Mine's on order from Amazon).

I'm a person who would get bitten in the Artic and that's why I ve been trying different cures to the bites other than chem based stuff.

things that worked for me short term on preventing the itch was The inside of the Banana skin, making a cross on the bite by pressing the finger nail into the bite.

But by far the best result for anti itching has been...... Toothpaste yup Toothpaste

  5. Had a similar late night vist myself a while back -

It was an elephant moth I found out and they get to quite a size.

Elephant Hawk moth feeds on Rosebay Willowherb, awesome creature.

  6. Sounds like a plan mate - anyone want to hire us a tirfor for the day....? :001_tongue:

    Simon

HSS hire shops have tirfor winch available for hire. Up here on Leeds Lpool canal at back of house they have two barges one with mini digger, other has a jcb and big winch. The thinking being if they have that kit here hopefully they will have it near to where you are working. Good luck and enjoy the challenge, I'm sure you will crack it.:001_smile:
