    enjoy weather cul

  5. Ive a 655 you can have for £100 collected, 2 comercial used seasons old,(but be lucky to have done a yr at most)

Had all the mod's need to keep the bloody blades conected to the rest of the mower + some

WHEN its working very good cut.

Can see why its green rather than orange and dont have Stihl down the side of it

Went back to my 7yr old Hayter ranger 3in1

  6. Am I alone in thinking that a streak of blacktop throgh the countryside is aesthetically offensive? It could have been toned down a little with some white shingle rolled into the top layer.

Get some white lines down the middle and some double yellow down the sides, couple of sets of lights at the tunnels :laugh1:

  7. Well for a hedger this was a good read, as Im in almost the same situation.

theres no TPO and was told I will JUST need to fill out a form, to inform council (Dorset) of what I/we wish to do. of which I have in front of me

this was from West Dorset District Council 2 weeks ago

Just to add to the application & notification debate :blushing:

    the title being

    Application for tree works..

Works to trees subject to a tree preservation order(tpo) and/or notification of proposed work to trees in a conservation area.

    [/color]Town & planning act 1990

the owners want the work doing just not yet, later in the summer, so not submitting it just yet in case thing change

  8. you havent got time for that .....

can we camp at this thing @weekend????????

getting ear ache from the boss wanting to know.

But also dont realy want to be doing 4 trips give us bell after 6 on home number:001_smile:

  9. Well sorry been a little while since Ive been here,

come the lighter evenings (wont say spring/summer as thats not here yet) tend to scratch about doing other things.

Well grass cutting, this last week Ive seen a bit of a spurt, but also just seen Countryfile weather forecast. Possible - temps at night and frost, did I see/hear that correctly ???:confused1:

But it has to be cut or it will be like last year. Put it of put it of due to being so wet, next thing on that 1 dry afternoon you then have a jungle to cut.

All what I said about stopping hedging end of March had a call to request some more about 2 weeks ago, went and had a look , not even a bud on it so down it went. The hedges round here have started to get some small leaf, but we still got more leaves left from last on the trees, than new ones for this year.

  10. Not mine,the land owners.

Dispite normaly knocking the hedging on the head end of March, nothing realy come into bud yet and no birdies nesting so did some more laying

had to lay willow on Island & cut n clear willow grown out into pond/lake

little different to the morn. also did usual trick forgot before n after pictures just the during pic

    DSCF7274.jpg.f4711f31be90114ac6480730a1a1d045.jpg

  12. Don't laugh, its just a glorified wheel barrow really.

    tractor1.jpg

1965 D326, its on light duties now just for bringing logs down to the wood shed.

if you dont want it ?? Id love something just like this, (MF35 type thing size) local water crest farm sold of 2 MF35's few yr ago now, both £800 1 with 1 with out cab, mate bough cabbed 1 I had fencing job come in, there he was post thumper on 35 happy as pig in poo did the job and still going strong..... sure I could get in plenty of trouble with it

  13. Well yesterday was great, sunny, and even hot in the Landy at dinner time(with windows up), into summer:confused1: work now mainly contract grass cutting, ground soggy, only had to pull mower out 4 times when it got stuck:thumbdown:, woke today to see more rain. to wet for comercial and far to wet for domestic stuff.... need to find a wet day job at home uummm
