  1. I know, will need to have a couple of cizzers with you sometime
  2. Thanks Chris for your kind words, hopefully in a couple of years time I will be able to invest in big kit. Very impressed with your rig, but it all takes time.
  3. We have written an editorial for a local magazine discussing arboricultural compliance and what clients need to look for when employing an arboricultural contractor as a minimum guide, in our attempt to persuade them towards checking contractors credentials. Its all about educating and informing the general public about what they need to look for when hiring an arboricultural contractor, and advising them of the dangers which arise when using unqualified, incompetent and inexperienced contractors. For instance how many members of the general public understand that our equipment needs to be loler checked on a regular basis, that all traffic management needs to be undertaken by qualified personnel etc and that you tickets in order to undertake tree work safely.
  4. Hes a real cracker, will make a cracking arb dog. I wouldn't be without my little working cocker puppy who comes to work with me everyday.
  5. The main issue being with a sole trader is that you and the business are one and the same, it is easier when you are a director of a limited company as there is a clear distinct legal separation between yourself and the business. However you would still need to declare the rent payment on your tax return which you can offset against any interest payments on any loans used to purchase the yard. I would as previously mentioned speak to an accountant about any rental agreements you wish to put in place.
