  4. hey guys askin for some advice agen. i have my CS30,31,38,39 tickets and been doin trees properly for about a year or so. just wondered about BS3998 qualifications.... im wondering if there is still a training course available to get me this qualification or if there is an equivilent to it nowadays?? thanks for the help and time lads :-)

    i bought my 550 at the celebration of trees show at capel manor college this year and used the saw yesterday and all of a sudden it started loosin power and wont rev up properly!! not happy, :-( gonna take it back to FR Jones and see what they say about it

    hey people sorry couldnt find any sections about climbing spikes so thought i would place a thread in here instead. im lookin at my first set of spkis and just wondered what peoples views and opinions are of the £80 spikes on ebay?? thanks for ur advice ppl
  13. arborisk quoted me £742 for £5m public liability,£10m employers liability and tool cover aswel. and nfu quoted £1028 for same cover :-(

  15. hey fellas after some help with sign writing. just wondered how much ppl have paid for the trucks to be sign writen. i have a double cab transit tipper and have built sides on it and im after prices to make plastic sides to go over the wooden sides on both sides with my company name n details n stuff on them, located in hertfordshire. had a rough estimate of £450 this mornin (2sides covered, tailgate done aswel, and any words on the cab itself) just wondered if this is a good price or not? thanks for the input guys :-)

  18. hey guys im actually talkin to NFU at the moment regardin public liability,, has any1 got a contact number for arborisk so i can ring them and get a quote please? any money i can save would be a very good thing as im settin up on my own :-) cheers
  19. thanks geoff i will try takin the carb off and replacin the rubber seals and see how i get on, quite handy with the spanners myself and im up for a challenge lol where is the pump located??

  21. mornin all, recently bought a stihl 200t, changed a few bits on it already, new worm gear,clutch springs, chain sprocket, needle bearing, bar cover, an new air filter. i cant seem to get it to run right, wen i bought it, it didnt idle very wel so uped the idle on the carb and is better but now everytime i use it i start it on choke as normal n as soon as i touch the throttle it dies. and then i cant seem to get it runnin agen its really drivin me mad atm. any help on this problem would be very helpful :-)

  24. i have to have a twin cab motor to be honest boys because i have some garden maintenance jobs aswel so twin cab is easier for equipment
  25. hi all, im new to this forum and just wondered if any1 could offer sum advice or help with transit bodies. im lookin at buyin an 07reg transit double cab tipper, was goin to fabricate a chipper box on it myself but the new beds are ally not steel so bit more tricky to weld. has any1 got any suggestions for me and places i can go for bodies?? i have only found 1 new tranny with a box already built on it, or am i lookin in the wrong place for 1? thanks simon
