  1. Hi, I'm looking for a climber or groundy to help out with a wide variety of different jobs on a regular basis. Would suit someone freelance or part-time, looking for someone hard-working and enthusiastic, could lead to something more permanent for the right individual. I'm based just north of Salisbury, near the A303 and would ideally like someone who is fairly close. Usual NPTC tickets required PM me details and I will get back to you. Many thanks

  3. Hi, I posted about some the otherday on this thread; http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/woodcraft-forum/44113-laburnum-wood-offered.html Don't know if its what you're after but its still available at the moment.
  4. Sorry for the delay, been to the clients today and took some photos. The saw is in the photo for perspective. The big piece with the root is 150cm from top to the very bottom (approx 130cm of clean wood) and is around 8"-9" diameter at the base. The next biggest piece is 130cm in length (approx 100cm from base to below the fork) and around 7" diameter at the biggest end. Any questions or offers please feel free to message me here or privately if you prefer.

  8. Hi, I have a client who has 2 nice pieces of laburnum, the trunk of the same tree that has been cut in half, both about 5' long and approx 8-10" diameter. It's a windblown tree and the base still has the root plate/bole attached, the top part splits into three leaders in about the last foot. Both nice and straight, few knots and I don't think there would be much rot as it was a rootplate failure. I haven't got any photos but could get some, just trying to work out what it might be worth, and if anyone on here might be interested. Wood is based near Salisbury close to the A303. Thanks
  9. Thanks to the guys who have already replied, Keith; where are you based. Would still like to hear from anyone who might be interested. Thanks
