  2. Hi mate this is my splitter, highly modified, longer depth guage, removed the stupid 2 handed opertaion do daa, , and a box section log holder on the side ( primed Grey) 4 way wedge etc .. 24tonne pressure, road towable, tow mine at 50mph no probs, charge £15.00 per hour atm for me and machine, but putting it up soon, hope this helps.
  3. haha, cheers mate, i relly want to try a 441, hear a lot of pros & cons, but think if im to buy a saw to last then a 460 or 660 wil be with me for a while, not too fussed on husky , (sorry ) will see what else people say then put my order in to Jonsie !!!
  4. have to agree i was using 25" bar ms 460, through beech, splitting rings and croscutting, and it flied.
  5. Ok, Thanks Steve, I did love the power of the 460, and the balance, just felt a bit tingly after using it for a while, 460 is looking the favourite atm.
  6. Im new to this so bare with me , , Im currently looking for a bigger (STIHL) saw, i currently have a 201t and 261 so looking for something to pull a 25-30" bar&chain, for bigger felling/chogging down etc... narrowed it down to 441, 460 and 660. does anyone have many pros/cons against the 441,?? used the 460 last week, loved it but av's bit poor, 660 is well expensive but would give me the option to swing a 36" bar . thanks.
