  1. I forgot to mention they will be used for Forestry work and no climbing.
  2. Hi I’m up for a new pair of boots. What are the current best boots around the price of £200ish mark. I’ve worn haix protector pros for the past 5 years because of the durability and high leg support but wondering is there any others out there that people would go to? Thanks!
  3. Is there anyone in Northern Ireland that is recommend who could do some porting on my Husqvarna 262xp? If anyone has done it to this model is it worthwhile? Thanks in advance !
  4. The fuel line is in good condition. Wiped the plastic around the fuel cap down and I can see the fuel coming out quite quickly when the saw is sitting upright and doesn't leak on it side. It also seems air is being pushed out through the seal of the cap, would this have anything to cause the fuel leak? My only thought is there is something to do with the fuel tank vent?
  5. That may explain it! I will have a look. Cheers.
  6. I have a husky 262xp and it is leaking fuel from the filler screw cap. I have replaced the cap but the problem is still there. Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem? Thanks David
  7. Brix workwear are top for haix boots!
  8. Thanks, it was just a leisure walk around as its owned by the National Trust.
  9. A few pics i took today while out walking the dog. The stem on the oak is a foresters dream!
  10. Which Le Chameau boot do people have and how do they rate it for light work?
  11. Hi all Im looking at getting a new pair of wellies for the winter/autum/spring season (will be mainly planting in them etc.) It doesn't have to have steel toe. Which muck boot do you have and what is good about it? (As im interested in the "Tay" boot). Where is the cheapest place to get them? Any help appreciated! David

  14. Got some haix protector pros. Well worth the money imo, feet dry, warm and safe. Especially if you are climbing over brash, the very high ankles on them keep you steady!
  15. This is our neighbours Beech that was pruned around two years ago. Some limbs/butts from previous limb removal are suffering from rot but the tree itself seems to be coping ok! Although the wall built on top of its roots probably didn't help it. [/img] What it looked like at Christmas
  16. I got a set of type a's. Seem as if they would perform well in the hot weather (not been out in them in hot conditions) because of the very thin material on the back. Fronts are very durable and overall very comfy to wear if working on the ground.
  17. Thanks for all the info. Will let him know the good news (because its not likely white finger and just muscle strain)!

  22. Just take advantage of their price match. Like looking on Chain Reaction Cycles. Price match allows you to get the discount if collecting aswell. Saved me a fair bit on parts for my mountain bike.
  23. Right, a friend of mine was explaining a "problem" he has in his hands (mainly right) after long use of a chainsaw (4/5 days a week, felling, ringing firewood etc). Basically in the evenings they close up like the shape of holding a glass or the trigger handle of the chainsaw. I'm struggling to figure out what it is. Would it be anything to do with white finger etc?
  24. Not. Also take note of the excellent cut he has done folks!
