  1. I'm just home , Knackered , my arms scratched to buggery, been balancing on dodgy platform, have underpriced leylandii job again, had that ' youve only done that much look' from the owner ...vowed never to do this again, But will as sure as night will follow day!
  2. Watched the program tonight. My wife and I felt there was a real lack of youth representation and input. Very sad story though.
  3. Sorry for the late post , I have just registered today. If you have already bought a shire then thats all good but if not I couldn't recommend a Dales pony highly enough. I have owned and worked one for 8 years now and there is nothing that will faze him. They will cost a fraction of the price to keep than your shire and are alot more versatile hence their name ' The Great Allrounder ' . Charlie Parker from Yorkshire or the Dales Pony Society would be a good first port of call. Again if breed is not important Jim Johnstone from Auldgirth, Dumfries would be a good bet for an Ardennes or something of that ilk , I'm sure Jim would be up for a haggle! Anyway hope that may be of some help and I hope you find something suitable soon
