  1. Good to see you've found a bike at last Josh,I've been busy on the bikes the last 3 months, try to ride every weekend if possible. We rode at Plymouth City Motopark (PCMP) for the first time Saturday, it's about an hours drive for me but well worth it. Look them up on Facebook. Crediton is open this Saturday but unfortunately I'm away.

  2. As Graham has said the hoses will look fine from the outside. You just need to find out if it's a problem with the fluid system or a mechanical fault. It could be any of the things mentioned, you just need work out which it is. As a seperate note, brake fluid isn't very good for your skin or paint work. Keep us posted with your results

  3. Is it one side or both? Had one in this morning, similar symptoms, right hand front,no visible defects, calipers returned freely, turned out to be collapsed brake hose,£12 problem solved. You need to know if it's brake fluid presure causing the problem or a mechanical fault, sticky caliper or pads. Try opening the bleed nipple when the brake is binding, see if there is presure in the system

  4. not much of a derail i have took the pto selector cover off to change the hyd oil filter

and it is not there . it is a 57 model 135 would it be hiding some where else ? can any one help please.

It should be there!? I've known of people leave them out,can you feel the hole for it?It will be submerged in the oil,its a fiddly job if you've not done one before. If not it might be underneath, triangular cover held with three bolts. You will have to drain the oil out befor removing, not seen a 135 with filter underneath before though

  5. Couldn't make the Phoenix round today, prob head up to Weston to watch the red bull pro nationals in a few weeks. Just starting to organise to go Germany for the motocross of nations end of September, if you've never been to a mxon I would highly recommend it. AMA sx has been good this year

  6. Thanks all for the continued advise, went to order the gasket but what thickness or notch. (1.3mm/1 notch-1.4mm/2 notch-1.5mm/3 notch) and what determines this?? :confused1:

    Thanks

The gaskets are a available in different thickness to compensate for how much the head has been skimmed. You need to check your old gasket and order the same if your not skimming head or thicker if you are skimming. Hope that makes sense?

  7. As steve as already said, the length of the cord makes a big difference when using a distel/Knut set up I experimented for ages using different cords. Putting a few twists in the cord as sugested by others also made a big difference. I still find my self using prussik for some situations though. I'm gonna try and get a rec climb sorted soon round this way (rec climb mid Devon) I'l post some info on the thread when I've got a location sorted.

  8. Type A or type C? I've got some hi flex type C class 2, much more durable than the class 1 as they have the Kevlar at the front all the way to the top of the trousers. If they had that on the rest of the hi flex trousers I'd definitely buy another pair of their type A's but looking at other brands now to replace my old hi flex type A.

  9. Managed to grab two secs today to adjust the valves. Fired straight up. Glad if was that was an easy fix.

Good job, Well done for posting your results, so many threads get left unresolved.

  10. One other thing, could be possible that the float needle is stuck causing excessive fueling or flooding of the one cylinder. Just a thought and probably irrelevant due to the fact the OP hasn't mentioned fuel pouring from the spark plug hole.
