  3. Hi guys Im currently going through training/tickets and have a newbie question... Im would like to know how you guys go about setting you're climbing line in lombardy poplars? Because it looks like it would be difficult getting the line captive via a throwline due to the busy internal structure of the tree? My guess is that its climbed like a conifer, by ascending via clipping over and over with lanyard and line? Thanks
  4. Thanks Mabbs:biggrin:
  5. Hi guys, Can anyone ID this, may be a easy one but I can't find it in my ID books?... I only have a leaf pic as my phone was flat so no pic of the tree. I can say the trunk was smooth like beech, and the branch system was layered like a cedar of lebanon..
  6. Just make sure to read up, I did all my certs with them and they are great. I would guess that your on site training will be at the United Utilities woodland at belmont (Blackburn) If you get Dennis as your instructor then its:thumbup: Good Luck...

  13. £120 i would go in for, sorry...
  14. Just come across this:laugh1:
