  1. We run the Clearview vision 500 which is only 8KW. It easily gets to 250deg C. When we bought it we were thinking about a back boiler but Clearview warned us it would only cope with a couple of rads - so I feel that perhaps you are optimistic to drive 14 rads with your, albeit, bigger 650. Not wishing to be rude but is it lighting, drawing OK, vents working etc. i.e. is the wood burning well or just smouldering?
  2. I have one of the Halfords professional 9 drawer cabinets. Solid drawers with good bearings.
  3. Did you get sorted? I'm about 15 miles down the road after about 10 tonnes as well. Steve
  4. Just about finished mine although not sorted the roof out completly. Currently using all the spare ply i had laying around. But its free Since the picture I've added some wire meshk (stock fence) to the ends to stop logs escaping. Total cost: box of deck screws from Screwfix & wood stain from Wicks. Even the wifes happy with it. Now need to fill it - anyone want to supply 10 tonne of hardword cord to just south of Chester? Steve
  5. Looks good. I'm building something similar (and will finish it, if it ever stops raining). I'm assuming that the base is 1.2m deep. If so how much overhang did you leave and what type/size plywood did you use for the roof? Steve
  6. I'm near Chester and would happily take chestnut arb waste of any kind :-) (even happy to collect). Steve
  7. Good point, but you use what you have. 2 blokes, 1 chainsaw, 100kg lenghts -sorted I'm not far a way so as long as its multiples of 3t jobs a good'un. Steve
  8. I’m interested. I’m in south Cheshire about 45 mins away & could collect in an Ifor Williams cattle trailer. I would be after say 10 tonnes of the hardwood but collected in 3 loads. Would that be OK? Steve
  9. Hi Stuart - I might well be interested in collecting the poplar from you. I'm just south of chester and could collect possibly this weekend if required. Where on the Wirral are you and it in the ring i.e. could I pick up the pieces by hand and load them in to my trailer?

    Regards

    Steve
