  1. Thanks a lot. They are in situ!? Specially commissioned to live next to the corrugated steel :-). They were commissioned as a gift so we never got to see them in their new home which is a bit of a shame :-(
  2. Hi A two piece sculpture I was commissioned to do a while back that i thought I would share. Its carved from Aspen and is life size. The two pieces are connected by fishing line from the rod and a hook in the salmons mouth. These pictures are prior to it being oiled. Kim
  3. This is a Ground Beetle I've just finished out of Aspen and delivered to a school in London. Had to take a few artistic liberties to fit the dimensions commissioned and to give it as few a weak points as possible for clambering kiddywinks. Kim

  12. A gorgeous bit of furniture. All too easy to overdo something like that and ruin it but I think you've done it justice, bark and all. Kim
  13. The fox was the most nervewracking bit as the gentleman was a farmer and so knew his foxes! Kim

  18. First of all "hello to everyone" as I'm new to the forums As a chainsaw artist who has just linked up with a few arboricultural outfits around the country so they can promote a carving option when they get to the stump, I'm wondering whether you lot get asked a lot for something creative doing with stumps or if people generally want them ground out? Do you think a lot of clients are unaware that they could have a sculpture done but would probably go for it as it would help something that they were emotionally attached to "live on"? Thanks Kim
