  5. Hi treegeek. Yes high mileage 160000 miles. I thought it was breathing but thought it maybe the turbo. Had that problem on an old defender. Do you think it'll harm turning the pump up a bit to give a bit better acceleration with the high mileage?
  6. That sounds like a nice simple solution! Thanks very much!! I guess it will improve performance as the intercooler will stop getting clogged up! The truck does feel very sluggish at the moment. Are there any other things I should look out for?
  7. Anybody know anything about Rangers. Can't find anything on tinternet!!! Got oil seeping on to the top of the intercooler and oil on the pipe going to the air filter? is this back filtering from the turbo if so is the turbo worn or need replacing? Many thanks for the replies?? Tom

  10. I've got a 2002 Ranger Double Cab with 160000 on the clock!! It's spot on and cannot fault it!! But.... I'm a Defender man!! Thinking of swapping or part exing for a 200 or 300Tdi!! Just testing the water to see if anyone is interested?!
  11. The saw in the photo is my mates old dolmar with a 4' bar! Amazing saw! Unfortunately I can't afford a 660. Am looking to get a husky 346 or still 261 so a 660 is out of the question unless I can get a good old 064 or 066!!
  12. Looks like I should be looking for a 064 or husky equivalent!!!
  13. Cheers guys. Was hoping it was gutsy enough to run a 24 for some very big oak I'm going to do! Can't afford a bigger saw at the moment!!!
  14. Hi all, Has anybody put a 24'' bar on there 441?? And does it perform well? I'm running a 20'' but wanted to go bigger. Cheers
