  5. Hi all, I'm looking for some dried milled timber of various species to purchase for a new project. I would preferably like the bark still on and if not would like the plank to still have a natural edge. Would like anything such as pop, oak, elm, cherry, beech, olive, olive ash, walnut and yew and open to additional species with a nice grain and colour. I have lots of timber seasoning now but impatience has gotten the better of me so want to get started. I'm based in East Yorkshire but will travel or can organise courier if you're miles away. Cheers, Kristian
  6. Prob best to test the water until the milling takes over
  7. Hi Chris, No rush as were preparing the sites at the mo and have 10 ton to process as well as all of our treework. That time would be great. Any ideas of cost with delivery incl vat? Kris
  8. Hi I'm looking for a supplier of hardwood cord if anyone has any ideas of anyone in East Yorkshire area. Would be after 26 ton to begin with.
  9. Excellent, no quantity surveyor required then! It couldn't be simpler! Thanks for the help
  10. Just a quick question. I'm about to enter a tendering process for a three year contract. Will I get a full description of the works needed or do I have to submit an average price for general activities?

  12. Another expert. If in doubt.....it appears an angled back cut will save the day. Wait a minute he hasn't got a beard.......
  13. Greeting, I am well and Spring has sprung for my product and sales. Just received a 100 unit order from them Vikings in Denmark so even though it may be bitter cold ATM I believe Spring is not to far away. Having to scramble a bit since this stocking order in the past has arrived 45 days earlier than normal. I hope all is well with you/, I wish you the best with your bid, although sometimes I believe the specs. for some jobs are for the birds!

    Best regards

    Ted

  14. ...Make sure you wear proper safety gear. I need some of those chainsaw chinos!
