Interesting Bob - I was thinking of going over to boarding. Seems a lot less faffing with only one board and comfy boots. Only been skiing 3 times and never had comfy boots - mainly cos I take a size 14 - and the discomfort spoils it a bit.

elder as in elder flower. Our patch of woodland has it all over the place after 50+ years of neglect so been clearing up a bit. Had a good few choking up some old apple trees which are now in the wood pile.

Didn't know holly was unlucky to cut. I know its supposed to be unlucky to cut Rowan, but never noticed any coming my way after I've cut them. Not supposed to burn elder either, according to one of the old poems it brings a death to the house.

Hey Jon - would make sense to combine forces one way or another. Just cant commit till a date is set as I might well be away at work

usually just toss in whatever is lying about needing to be used up, but liking some of the recipes on here.

Dont bother with a processor as it makes for too much cleaning, just chop roughly & cook up in a pot and blitz in the pot with a commercial type handheld blitzer thingy-me-bob - jobs a good-un.

Dont matter what they are, they will fight at times and be the best of mates at other times with somewhere in-between for the most part - enjoy either way as it is not for us to choose.

On that note, imagine trying to choose what to have!! Bet a few marriages would come to a sudden end with that one :lol:

Some will stop water some wont, some give an air tight seal, but some let the air through.

Just have to get the right one for the job.
