Hi Spud,

I've rebuilt quite a few saws lately and am getting quite competent at it, not least from what I've learned from your posts! However, I have a 357 that needs a new piston (that arrived today) and it seems nice and wide leaving plenty of room for a bit of creative pot carving! How wide is it safe to go to without the ring catching and what setup have you got to get in and work on the upper transfers? Sorry to be cheeky and hope I'm not being a nusaince!
