  3. hi all, bit of a long story but ive got to get out my yard and am really struggling to find somewhere to go to, so im thinking about selling up... would it be best to sell as a business (equipment, tools phone number, name, advertising etc) or split everything up individually? id like to sell it as 1 whole thing what do you guys think? thanks Ben

  5. hi all scaffolders have recently left their yard and have left a load of broken split short and basically useless boards if anyone want them they can come and get them otherwise they will just be burnt? might be alright for kindling?? just a thought for anyone who coulld be interested really! pm me for more info. oh and im in nutbourne between portsmouth and chichester. cheers ben
  6. Hi, ive been selling logs/firewood for just over 3 years and have now decided to branch out into the chimney sweeping side of things, i have booked to do the NACS course and brought a lot of chimney sweep equipment (fortunatly from somebody who was selling up!) so have spent a lot of money preparing for it. However i have never swept a chimney before! and im not the sort of person to do a 'bodge job' i would rather spend the money and give a quality service to my customers. i would like to work with a sweep for a day just to learn some basics and some advice on doing a good job and would willingly work for a day for free in exchange! im quite suprised that there arnt many firewood suppliers doing chimney sweeping aswell i thought there would be a lot more. Ben
