Hard is not the word for the stuff! I think this timber is nearly a transition to stone( did that make any sense?) No one is going to nick your bench I bet it weighs a tone! I smell a bit better today,but I need a new air freshner for the pickup :

Had a lovely day today milling up 12"x7" jara sleepers(not). The biggest down side is that I now stink of dog piss!! Any tips for getting rid of the smell? I think that Jara timber is stunning some of the colouring is lovely, I was given a few bits wich I think I might make a bench out of the stuff.

Any advice on milling a stick of burr oak. It's a big lump and is cover in burr if that makes sence.

Leave some woodland for the people who actually live and work in Wales, I think there is now a clause that you have to speak welsh before they let you buy woodland in Wales !!! Twll tyn pob sais! -

I agree, if they don't know how bad the service is over hear things wont change! Right I think an email to Woodmizers headquarter is in order (any one with me?)
