  2. Concerned as to the extent of the white rot in the roots, we had a session with an airspade in 2010 to give us an idea of how vital the lateral anchor & feeding roots were. .

  9. Jules, its not only just comments that are the measure of how alive a thread is or not. Look at the views in your 'valuation' thread. The views of this thread are now at over 7OO and no doubt will keep slowly increasing. I'm sure a good number of people have taken something from the thread and may yet still in the future. You really shouldn't get so despondant when you don't get an imeadiate response to your posts. Have some patiences my dear fellow I've been known to wait months and on one occasion 'a couple of years' for a response to a particular thread .

  16. Fine Shots Andrew How are the trees faring in your part of the world? Are your Ash trees suffering from Chalara disease? What on earth does that sign on the wall in post 9990 mean? No parking ships? .
  17. May be beech bark disease which is a complex involving Cryptococcus fagisuga, the beech scale insect which paves the way for Nectria fungi to attack the bark. Have you shown me this tree before Ross? .

  19. In essence, but I don't think that necessarily means each and every clone will have spores inside. Depends on provenance I'd imagine. .
