  3. i was weirded out first time i saw somone eat one. mid conversation he just picked up an ant and ate it! didnt bat an eyelid. i was speachless!! but yes they are quite good. good cure for headaches aswell

Hi all, I have my heart set on buying, Alex Shigo's Modern Arboriculture - Touch Trees, but am a bit stumped as there seems to be quite a few different copys out there, ranging in colour, publishing date, condition and price! has the book changed atall over the years? 2008 is the latest one i seem to be able to find. is that the latest? Also how do people rate the book itself? many, many thanks for your time! Max

  7. found it very easy to get work over there. was working for about 3 companys at one stage in north queens land for about 6 months, noone asked for tickets or even cvs. damn hot tho, in summer it was getting past 40' and around 150 humidity. have to drink atleast 10lts a day while working. damn good money also. was working on a tropical island for a bit with a climber working on the palms. he was getting $30 a palm and was doing around 40 a day...he was a monster so yea deffanatly worth giving it a go....good luck with the green ants

Quick update: i now have my cs 38 and got my cs 39 on friday!! i have my own climbing gear, PPE and chainsaws...now all i need is my foot in the door! still willing to do some unpaid work to prove myself. or even if anyone needs a hand for a day, il take all the experience i can get. many thanks forr your time.

  10. cheers mate! yea got it all sorted now. collage was talking crap. thas a good idea about the rope! i will indeed ask him and let you know! yea, should be fine, been practicing up trees this week. cor, climbing roaps doesnt half take it out on your hands!!

  11. hey max, hows it going?? just a quick questian. got my 38 next week and i have just been told i need a LOLER certificate for all my brand new, out the box stuff. did you have to do this?? bullshit.

  14. Hello! First post on this great site! I am very shortly about to be relocating to Bristol full time and would love a job! I’m fairly green to the industry with just under a years experience split between Australia and here but what I lack in experience I more than make up with enthusiasm and motivation. I recently put myself through my CS30, CS31, PA1 and by the time have moved I will have my CS38 CS39. Oh and I also have a first aid certificate and have own PPE. Il take anything at all if it gives me some experience also be willing to do unpaid work to prove myself, again if I can get some good experience out of it. Many thanks for your time, Max
