  4. Hi Steve,

Yea i got mine too - and i'm not sure....the cover letter said i had failed but i read on and it said i passed on the lantra forms!!!! Need to speak to Lynher about that one! I'm going to have to wait till Monday.

Bad luck matey - where does this leave your plans to become a tree inspector?!?!? If you take it again make sure you read londsdale and mattheck till it makes you sick - i guess you can just do the assessment again

  6. hey arbogrunt,

re your footnote about the regiment blinded with dust and smoke... how do you know it? my old man used to recite it when he used to watch me play football at school! we were usually losing so thats probably what it was about eh! he was ex RAF. managed to find the whole thing poem thanks to tinternet but, wierd its the only time ive heard it anywhere since......... anyways you got a story with it?! cheers, mark

  7. it took me ages to work out where id seen you....anyway hope the business is doing well. if you were nearer by it would be good to hook up - if you come down this way get in touch - might be a sale in it even, but after chrimbo eh!

  8. blow me!

i think that sounds familiar! Well kind of passed- i got 41% in both the 2nd and 3rd years and smirklingly accepted a degree that i understood nothing about and wasnt that interested in!!! we werent social as i remember but we were on first names i think. Do you remember Chris Greenfield, Paul Ballard, Paul Dodd, Katrina Jones? Pete Bartell-smith? Still mates with them. Katrina's a flipping airline pilot!

Left uni, odd jobs/travelled, conservation work, arb proper last few years. I'm in north devon, elbow to elbow with all the others up here. we've got one tree each.

    small world mate!

  9. Hi Rob,

just been watching your alaskan demo video on arbtalk tonight. This will sound weird but did you study engineering at bath uni - i think i recognised you? if you did it would be a mad coincidence that we both ended up in arb!!!!! By the way i will get a mill off you at some point

All the best whover you are, Mark.
