  1. How long after was you affected did you need to keep your skin covered for a long time after .
  2. Straight to hospital if you get sap on you and as you said it can last many years and you need to cover your skin in that time to prevent more burning blistering . You have to report it and it's an offence to remove it without doing so . I'm glad were just felling the trees not clearing the hogweed by hand with hand tools sounds like a boring job .

  5. I must say I had never heard of it until today . Very impressive in size it has a little bit of a Gunnera look about it .

  7. The giant hogweed😱 I had to do some research on this today as we have priced to clear an area of trees with hogweed growing in the middle of it . If I have identified it properly then I believe it's sap makes your skin very sensitive to sun light causing burns and blisters and sometimes this can be permanent . We won't be doing any work near it until it's cleared by a specialist company .
  8. That's true but good for narrow access tree jobs and I believe they hold weight well . Some can have bad rust

  14. Out and about with my wife in London yesterday and came across these old catalpa's at the Houses of Parliament. I was wondering if anyone knows how old they are .
  15. Truly magical place makes you feel healthy just walking around . Maybe a rec climb could be organised?. I know there was one a couple of years ago .
  16. I just had a look on maps the area that you said is a different area I will try and put a map on here later .
  17. It was just behind the parking area inside the forest if the pub is next to the little wood yard were they sell logs and chip and do carving then yes it was near that .but on the other side of the roundabout . Have you climbed in the forest before jay
  18. No taper or stalk maybe I just wanted to make a few quid in Chinese medicine

  20. Oak which had been previously very heavily reduced .
  21. Found this poor guy in the road he was still alive .I think he had been attacked by possibly a bird of prey .
