  1. Absolutely. I'd love to see a decent opposition. I reckon his heart is in the right place but he's too weak to lead a country, strikes me better suited as a parish councillor. Check out the video a few pages back about him and Abbott bleating on about how they want to copy Venezuela and then look at the state of the country after a few years of socialism, starvation, hyper inflation, mass unemployment Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Labour can have all the police they want but if the man at the top doesn't have a problem with people supporting Isis and going off to fight and equally doesn't think they should be shot when carrying out these attacks he may as well requisition the lollypop ladies to help with the Islamic threat http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/06/05/jeremy-corbyn-said-isil-supporters-should-not-prosecuted-expressing/ Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. How do you do it mystic peatff? 😂 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. If you were in control and the police knew of someone that was becoming radicalised what would you have them do? I'm only asking as you seem more to the left than most and I've not heard a solution from that side of thinking Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Think he got the hint from the comments on the other thread Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. I don't think you're too far away from my way of thinking. I just can't see how a bigger police budget would have stopped these attacks given others have been stopped and mostly these guys are on a watchlist that's frankly just toothless. I think it must be very difficult doing a job running a countries budget, where do you send funds, health? Education? Police? Infrastructure? Someone's gonna hate you and pick holes whichever you do, or don't do. There's no magic money tree so it's a judgement call. I wouldn't want the job!! Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. I don't understand this argument surrounding Saturday. The police did a fantastic job and dealt with the situation appropriately in a very quick timescale. The intelligence services know who these guys are half the time and apparently have stopped a further 5 attacks in recent months. Where it falls apart for me is the lack of action when suspects are identified Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Yeah he wants to borrow enough money to employ the whole population and privatise everything. Of course the poilce will have to give up their guns and in a situation with terrorists be issued with a flask of tea and a slice of battenburg and have a jolly nice chinwag with them. That'll solve it Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Sounds like it'll be a good chipper saw 😉 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. It says saws in the email so must be a few coming Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. Australia 2 is needed! Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. Missed her. Did see one bloke who was in the area who was on about how we should all hug a stranger today. Can't quite get my head around that one. Families have been devistated and people are wounded in hospitals, not sure how hugging strangers will make them feel better or stop anyone with similar ideas on killing in the future Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Haha ditto, despite the arguments it's good to see other points of view Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. Yeah that triggerandy was out of line a few times today Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. 2! Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Unfortunately it's true, if anyones in doubt put a post up on one of the arb Facebook pages asking if anyone uses arbtalk anymore and see what response there is. I think it's a shame as enjoy this site and it's helped me alot over the years by making new contacts and learning stuff so I won't be going anywhere. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Not feeling able to talk freely on arbtalk is one of the main reasons people tell me they don't post anymore.. just saying Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. 👍 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. First time i've logged onto arbtalk on the pc for a while so hadn't noticed your avatar on the app, love it
  20. Shame but you're right, not much else happening on arbtalk thesedays. Not sure why adults cant discuss what they want but not my forum so will accept it.
  21. Very peaceful religion, holy month means go forth and kill? https://www.thereligionofpeace.com Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Absolutely but within the region there has to be a movement to eradicate this behaviour. The majority wouldn't report someone they suspect to be involved with extremism... Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Just wheeled out a Labour MP saying how we're multicultural and need to pull together. Usual line when this happens. No mention of dealing with the problem Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. 7 have died now. The news won't mention who did it despite the fact we all know Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. Awful scenes again. Just read this elsewhere, sounds about right. In the event of an Islamist attack Here are the steps 1. This has nothing to do with Islam and he does not represent Islam 2. Claim to be the religion of peace 3. It's blowback for the West being in the Middle East. 4. The perpetrator was a mentally ill 5. It was a ''lone wolf attack''. 6. It's just part of living in a big city 7. Claim Christians do these things too 8. Those who object are racist bigots. 9. Change Facebook profile to flag of inflicted country. 10. Light some candles, hold a vigil and go on a peace march. 11. Claim Muslims are the real victims. 12. Wait for the next Islamic terrorist attack to happen. 13. Go back to 1. Repeat as needed.
