  1. If there was an event accommodating mediocre climbers with appalling throw line skills I'd be all over it like a rash.

Honestly, it sounds intimidating to get into, and the bigger boys might be mean to me!

Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

Just have a go, I thought exactly the same but I entered and it was awesome everyone was very helpful when I didn't have a clue what to do

  2. Seen them before at shows and seem full of gear junkies.. Half the lads I see fly up the tree, but give them a saw and its game over.. As said each to there own

Most of the top competitors are either good contract climbers or own their own very reputable companies. To say they can't produce quality tree work is insulting really!!!

  3. The work climb was 7 minutes and it goes fast, I personally had to watch the work climb all day. I really enjoyed it, it's also interesting watching the rescue as you learn a lot that you could maybe have to use one day as the rescue method you learn on the cs38 is pretty basic.

  4. A lot of the competitions you see at arbshows generally are student comps.

The ISA TCC should be held at an arbshow...its ludicrous hosting it anywhere but IMO

3atc have locked that down though haven't they?
