  1. thanks guys. i agree a database is not worth much especailly in this climate, however the business has approximately doubled each year for the last 5 years so hopefully keep this trend up ! there would not be much kit for sale alongside it in this instance as it would be kept for other duties. i think the answer to my own question is , probably not alot of value as of yet .....

  3. firewood business with turn over around £22k/year with around £10k profit . Customer based of around 70-80. Do you think this business is worth something and if so how much ? any feedback most appreciated regards chris
  4. cheerz folks - im not sure what to go for. the haiki, posch and japa are established but i think there should be better machines ! looks like a good little clean set up u have there !! how much can you process in a day or per hour ? if you dont mind me asking how much did u pay for the 320 ? i cant get hold of the dealer and he said he would call me back but never hass......... bit dubious even if the person trying to sell them cant even call me back ?? lol:laugh1: Regards Chris

  16. looking at installing a small scale biomass system to heat a 4/5 bed house and two proposed cottages. any good/bad makes and models which people have used and what system/fuel type people have found works the best? would be interested to know rough installation costs and people who do this type of work too ?   19. Hi all how many nets do you guys get done per hour per man ? I am lucky to get 20/hour with my system which is a piece of 'U' metal sheet, place logs in, put the net over and then push and slide. I'm just curious as to how other people do it and what their productivity is like? regards Chris

  24. thanks for all your comments the DB is a 990 - very relaible old girl and yes hypothermia cab. very useful i am based near cockermouth/keswick in the lake district - the views are excellant, and i love taking them in when i have a 5 min break!! the transport box holds around 1.15cum when full, but as it tips out i fill it so its holds around 0.8 cum. haha - yea it is meant to go on the back but much more useful when it can be lifted a couple of meters up ! im doing an experiment with the net bags - leaving them out all summer rain or shine and putting everything else in a shed. going to see which will be dryier/least moisture what do ppl think?
