  17. I'll try to make it for the last day, but it's uncertain if I'll make it. We normally camp at the back of the club house but it's not a official camp site. Phone the organizer (Carrick) to see what he thinks
  18. Hat's off to all the novices setting some very fast times. Big well done to Daryl Platton 14.81 I think is a record for side spikes. It is the fastest time I have records for anyway. Grant set a time of 16secs the first time he competed in the novice class and now has the world record Daryl I'll be your manager for 25% of all future winning.. What do you say???????
  19. Woodfests Results in PDF Just for you John Done by my fair hands:001_cool: Woodfest Wales 2010 Pole climbing Results.pdf
  20. I will get the results on here for you all to see, As soon as I find the laptop. I Know its in the caravan somewhere
  21. If you were to compete at the APF Im sure i could find time to let you go up on toe spikes. That is if someone will let you lend a pair, There not easy to make and alot of the climbers are scared to let others use them in case they brake them.
  22. Hi bob The Two shows I organize ( Woodfest Wales & APF ) There is a class where you can ONLY wear side spikes This is to encourage those who have not taken part in the sport to have a go,Its a totally separate competition.
  23. The application forms for the World pole climbing comp at the APF this year in Sept are now also on the APF website so if you wish to enter this comp there is plenty of time to get your entry form in:thumbup: APF 2010, the UK?s largest forestry and arboricultural exhibition is returning to the same location as its hugely successful 2008 event.
