thanks jim , pleasure working with you! if anyone on here is after any of the wood or knows anyone that might be let me know now just to stack it............ i was thinking of placing in sea container but concerned about it getting too hot in the summer, would most people recommend stacking outdoors for better air flow with a tarp over top section of stack? cheers jo

Well tree is down but we have lost a meter and a bit to a big cavity lurking in the middle of the heart wood at the base, still hoping there is enough good wood left in the stem to make it worth while and deciding what cuts will be best to sell on etc ? Beautiful wood !!!

so what size can you cut with the 880 and bigger bar lo pro and would you still use Granberg Ultimate , if so would you need to get extra lengths to extend it other than what comes in set up from honeybros?

Granberg Ultimate Alaskan Chainsaw Mill - what are your thoughts for first mill? would it stretch to mill the big plane i've posted pictures of on other thread. (about 350 cm circumference) if so what saw and bars would you recommend (can i use a ms660 i have?) any recommendations would be gratefully received ! cheers jo

any one available to mill large london plane just off A3 london, SW15 4NN. needs to be done this thursday/friday/saturday. either to include removal of planks or just to mill and i'll keep and store. Can have extra guys on site to help shift planks etc circumference ~ 340 cm at chest height, tall main stem so could be 10m of usable lengths but advice welcomed!
