  1. There's some awesome kit in there. God knows how you would get it out though. All look well built and heavy
  2. Pm me with a price bud would be great.
  3. Has anyone got a stihl 076 working with bar and chain. Just fancy one
  4. You have till June 30th to find out and apply that's the deadline.
  5. Hi guys. Fairly new to forestry but wondering what the crack is with vat. Do I charge vat on top of extraction rates. When I buy standing timber do I pay vat etc. if some one could fill me in on particular or point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks
  6. I don't know to be honest have a word with Arthur ibbetts
  7. I can honestly say I never got a single bit stuck anywhere. The chipper was a monster it crushed unions like no tomorrow. Would get another one as the maintenance was so easy on it. You can also produce proper biomass chip which not many tow behinds will do. All you need is to buy the screening grid £200 ish and away you go. Get a demo and you'll love it. The only other chipper I have used that comes close is the forst tr6. Tp feed is a touch slower but the stress control is less frequent so makes it just as fast.
  8. Anybody interested in full service spares for the above chipper. Mine was stolen last year didn't get another but still got the full service box. Filters, belts, anvils etc. pm if it's of any use to anyone
  9. I would agree with a lot of these comments. Reduction would cause a lot of reactive growth next year and have the reverse effect in terms of allowing light in years to come. Maybe another thin if feasible if not go for the crown lift.
  10. Looks like a old version of rope runner on DR
  11. They are adjustable on the top link bit move the metal pin down it will be less sensitive
  12. Yes I would agree you would have to take the pulley out when you get close which wouldn't be ideal.
  13. Thanks for that I think marshals sell them. Will get some prices. The uni forest seem very competitively priced though think it may take some beating. Mendi would I be right in saying if I put a pulley at 50m at head height or above it would add to the pulling capabilities
  14. Thanks I didn't see that on the website. That's a long rope more than I was expecting. I've just found out they do a skyline system for it as well now looks really good. Bet it's not cheap though going to enquire next week
  15. Euro forestry have not got back to me don't think they are interested in it
  16. 20 at roadside is what I'm after but may be able to do 19 but that is the lowest we can afford to go
  17. Euro forest never came back with a price but stobarts offered me a price that allows the estate to brake even but make nothing meaning the job won't happen
  18. Hi guys anyone on here know how much cable you can run out of these winches. Have quite a wet site to do some winching on so need as much as poss. Haven't bought it yet just wanting a bit more info Thanks
  19. I need at least 20 per ton if possible otherwise it's not really worth the estate having it done
  20. Definitely worth a look though not sure where to start with that to be honest
