  6. I been asked to prune a semi mature walnut tree,i was told once at college they can only be pruned at certian times of the year as they can blead is this tree and when the best time to do it? Tar
  7. Ha yeh they doo.Maybe best just to monitor them and do somthing about it when they start to die off or large crack apperaing in the bark.
  8. Are any of the surrounding trees showing signs of ill health as well?I dont think its Weeping canker of caucastion lime as it only effects Tillia x euchloria.So maybe pytopora or even slim flux maybe

  10. Thanks lads,when i first read the comments when only peter posted,so told the customer ill do it next thurs.So ill do a light reduction, as they said they want me to come back each year and mangage there trees.
  11. i been asked to prune a large magnolia which is about 30ft in height.The magnolia is causing a lot of shade but they want to keep it "tree shape" so i said i can do a reduction and a slight thin.When is it best to do this i preserume to do it in winter as it will be dormant?Cheers

  15. Hi I am a keen hard-working Arboriculturist and I am currently studying for the Foundation Degree in Arboriculture. I currently work occasionally for a local Tree Surgeon but I am looking for additional work during the summer recess, I have Cs30,Cs31 and chipper qualifications I would be happy to work casually or full time as required until the end of September when I return to college. Note I have my own PPE inc climbing kit and also I have my own car. Thanks Andrew

Hi all this is my first ever post so dont be too mean (:.Im looking to buy my first climbing kit i was just woundering what you all would reconmend and stay clear off.I was thinking about a petzel sequia harness,Edelrid x-perience rope and a couple of 30kn carabeners and a couple of pre made prussicks as i dont trust my self to make them lol Chears
