  1. check out the stealth cam thread. its a brilliant little camera!
  2. Its pics I'm after to see how others have done it!
  3. As a rule all the tools come out every night and get locked away its just I'm not a fan of piling everything up on or under the seats
  4. Afternoon! I've had my truck for a while now and whilst its great for what I need I'm finding that having all my tools in the back is becoming a pain. I'm sure I saw someone on here whose removed the rear bench and made some shelves to fit in the back. If anyone can help or suggest something it'd be much appreciated. Ta Jonny:001_smile:
  5. luckily for me the place where I store my logs is in the middle of a place that's locked up every night. there's no chance of anyone getting in at all. If i'm there at dusk soon I'll post some pics:001_smile:
  6. It's an amazing camera! In the box you get a set of instructions, a cable for linking it to pc and a strap to tie it to whatever, oh, and the camera too! As for night time shots the only flash you see are a few red dots because of the infa-red. I've got the camera on an oak and it's really well disguised. I got caught on camera just after dropping a ring of oak on my hand!! haaha:lol: OOOOuch!

    Movember

Ha! Was just about to ask if anyone else is doing this!! I'm in!
  8. Its a great little camera. I have 2 8gb memory cards and once a week change them over and see who's been about! On a seperate note got a call saying the guy trying to nick the wood's had his membership revoked.
  9. Dad phones me this morning saying he's at the shoot and there's some bloke trying to lift big rings of oak into his car. Asks dad to give him a lift with them! Idiot!! Can't wait to get the photos of the camera tomorrow!
  10. ended up going to a garage today to get a new inner tube, they suggested a heavy duty tyre so went with that:thumbup1:. On the way out someone asks for a card, open the email they sent when I get home, please price mahoosive connie hedge at another one of their outlets!
  11. Hi Nigel thanks for the recommendation. I just don't want to not be without my trolley tomorrow!
  12. Mark, I almost cried when handing the money over! But... It's honestly been the best thing I've bought in ages! Even with flat tyres it still beats long drags!!!
  13. Has anyone else had any punctures on their Arb trolley? I've had 3 in two days!! And each time it's only a small bit of bramble or something similar. The garage I got the new inner tubes from said they might be able to get me a more heavy duty tyre, has anyone else upgraded theirs? Cheers Jonny:001_smile:
  14. As said before got to use the little saw yesterday. Starts fine, idles ok and runs to full revs. But sometimes when releasing trigger it seemed to cut out then be a pain to start. Anyone got any ideas why and what do I need to fix. Cheers.
  15. Tomorrow I get to use it for the first time!
  16. I too got given one by an Estate I look after. Bought a few spares From Honey Bros as they're local to me. Am I right in saying that back in the day these saws were highly rated?
  17. The first day we got our new car my wife decided to bend the passenger door on a post that got in the way!
  18. Hi Dent That's the joke of it! I've told him about using hand signals and then to use his arms to signal how far away etc. He doesn't quite get it yet though! It's just a bit frustrating at the end of the day but there's no point getting stressed over it. Just want some tech to make our lives easier! Maybe I should get one of those new fangled mechanical saw things too....
  19. haha maybe!
  20. My reversing is fine with or without trailer:001_tt2:. Its when you get someone giving you all the hand signals so you assume it's right over the top then you jump out and they're then trying to move trailer/chipper by hand! I dont understand how he gets it so wrong???
  21. Hi All I'm getting fed up of having my " help " seeing me back onto trailer etc then getting out and finding I'm a foot + away from where I need to be! Can anyone recommend a camera so I dont have this problem anymore! I know I'm being lazy Jonny:001_smile:
  22. Yep it's the camo model.
  23. The timbers in the grounds of a local shoot, which in turn is in the middle of a 300 acre site so there's no way of putting lights etc up. The camera is infared so should take decent pics at night too. The only people who know its there are the members of the shoot (and now obviously fellow Arbtalk members!)
  24. As promised pics from the bushnell 5mp camera. The guy in the photo was not nicking logs I'll hasten to say!
  25. I'm really impressed with the pic quality the Bushnell one has. I'm going there tomorrow so I'lll post some pics to show you.
