  1. Spoke to Paul at Wilson’s this afternoon and he suggested it could be a solenoid too. My mechanic here tomorrow night so hopefully he can figure it out [emoji1303]
  2. It’s got to be electrical as the light flashes when 3rd shuttle is engaged. It’s got to be shorting out somewhere... but where! Lol
  3. Afternoon Just went out to take the tractor to the car wash and couldn't get the shuttle box to work. Seems to be stuck in the middle gear of the 3 but will sometimes engage 3rd. But then occasionally then slips out or even drops power Typically it's got a busy week ahead! Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem? Many thanks Jonny
  4. 50/50 woodland and road use

  11. Went to see the look at the black Valtra today and apart from a few age related issues all seemed ok [emoji106] However... the light under the "book" stayed on all the time when engine running with a beep every 4 or 5 seconds. They're putting it on a diagnostics machine tomorrow but would anyone here have an idea what it might be?? Cheers Jonny
  12. Hopefully going to go have a look at this...
  13. Cheers for the link [emoji1303] Need to find a tractor first though [emoji3]
  14. Had a bit of a look around but still unsure of what’d be best. Totally agree with Mr Git on size wise.. Ideally would like to spend about 10-15k on the tractor then get a new botex 560 roof mounted crane (20kish) If anyone has some time to help me source a tractor then obvs I’d be willing to pay for your time Many thanks Jonny
  15. Very nice Mr Blair! May I ask for how much? (To give me an idea on what I need to spend) Pm if preferred Thankyou [emoji1303]
  16. Evening all. Recently picked up a Hooklift trailer from Wilson’s and am thinking of getting a tractor with roof mounted crane rather than mount the crane on the drawbar etc etc. I literally have no idea of what would be the best tractor for the work we do! Would have to be second hand as budget dictates this at present. Will be speaking To Simon at Wilson’s on Tuesday but if anyone has any other advise it’d be greatly appreciated Thankyou as always Jonny
  17. No advertising, just word of mouth.

  19. Haha! Andy and Bob said they'd put me a toolset together with all the spare stuff they've got! Glad you got the springs fixed so Bob and Mick fabrications can get back working on my chipper! [emoji57]

  23. Hi John! Thankyou, it's almost how I want it! Hopefully Bob and Mick Dundee can get the tp on the din plate in the very near future! Bought the bracket from Atkinson Vos. I'm guessing those holes are for hooking on the hook of the winch???? Hows the RB? I really miss my old one!
  24. That's Ok Dave, no problem its piped for hydraulic brakes and has suspension. I'll be converting it to air asap.
