  2. hi can any 1 tell me a ruff price to take the nptc courses for forwader and or harvester
  3. ive heard that the chasis arent too good forgot to mention needs 5 seats for the misses and the baby and any 1 else and obiously any 4x4 is gonna b a gas guzzler but the better on fuel the better

  11. basically its to settle a argument a friend of mine is wanting to drive a vimek forwader and harvester that do 25 kph sum 20 miles down to his next site with out having to pay haulage costs (tight arse) he says it will be fine as long as he has flashing lights and i was doubting it

  13. when i worked in keilder it took ruffly hour and a half from carlisle bit longer if u got stuck behind a timber wagon or a low loader with a forader or harvester on
  14. just looked bk at m paperwork and yeah i fluffed up with the measurement its 15m lol god im crap at remembering stuff

    how hard can silver birch be pruned the tree is 25m high and the guy is wanting rufly 2 to 3m off would it be able to cope with it
  17. its a mix of the 2 was just thinkikng small forwader as the hilly site the tractor would be grounding all th time
  18. can any one tell me a ruff price for extraction and if its any difference between a big forwader a small one like a vimek or a tractor and timber trailer set up ruffly 50 tonnes to come out somer big diamater and some pulp wood sised the ground is varied fromnice and flat to steep ground with rutts and drops every were does that also make a diffrence and would thereb a cost for haulage or is that included in per tonne rate and can u hire forwaders from any were of any siseto try n make it a bit cheaper any help appreciated

  20. well the other day i was chipping a load of wood and with all the dust in the air i managed to get a bit under my contact lense even with wearing my visor and scratched my eye (corneal abbrasition) can any 1 reccomend any foam sealed glasses or goggles preferely not the ski type ones i have seen bolle x90 goggles with a rubber lip any one used them any advice would be much appreciated
  21. turns out it was craven colllege basically my trainer had been givin permition to climb certain trees including a few standing stems and ones we could spike
  22. not sure mate was only told a time to get picked up and that the site had purpose built area for the areial rescue and spiking and such fourth had a look at the craven college site but could not find any info
