  1. doesnt the winchrope need to be kept tight onto the drum? as in loaded under slight tension, i'd fit it then do some winching to see what the stretch is like, if you are happy with it you need a winch cover for the rays man..:thumbup1:

oh and a polished fairlead instead of the rollers i think..

  2. treated myself to bungee at last apf, first day back my bro warmed saw up ready to send up to me and wrecked it.. brand stinking new:thumbdown:, guess whats on his shopping list this year? still on a solid webbing weaver one but love the bungee on my bro's 200t with ring for close clipping:thumbup1:

  3. get the protector pro's rob, i slept in mine the other night they are sooo comfy. oh i'll post pics/vid of cutting up chainsaw boots from today with ms460, that will scare the schmite out of you.. straight through twice in different places with a log inside, didnt pull any clogging material out at all, oh they were the ancient stihl boots,

  4. once bought an efco 152 chainsaw, and it was pants.. paid £270 for it and gave it some hard abuse, looking back it spent a good amount of time on most jobs in bits, was going to stick the engine on my mountainbike but it needs a coil and hasnt run for at least 5yrs.. it sat in the garden for over a year hoping to get stolen but nobody bothered so its back in the shed as easy picking bait..

  5. client went to move his 10plate ranger back up his gently sloping gravel driveway, didnt matter how gentle with revs/clutch he was, the wheels were spinning as he got slowly further away from where he wanted to be.. eventually he got a run up and made it before slamming the door in anger and watching as the landy did it backwards with a chipper in tow without any spin at all..

  6. been picking this week, so far had blackberry crumble, raspberry and cherry crumble, swapped some woodchip for a load of apples and plums, the woman made the plums into plum jam. swapped more chip for spuds, carrots etc. found a haul of hazelnuts on a hazel we coppiced.. oh and a couple of pigeon eggs in an omlette:thumbup:
