  1. No, it doens't. I worked with this saw for 2 days. Got it from a landscaper who hires me each year for a few days. He was offered to use the demo from the local Husky dealer, so I did not speak to the dealer myself. Advantages : No fumes No pulling of the recoil starter Lightweight Silent apart from the wheeeeeeessssss Very slim shaped and easy to manoever in small trees Batteries charge faster (for now) than you use them up High cutting speed and small chain gives a very clean cut Disadvantages : Pinches easier than my Stihl 200t, you need to handle it more carefully (misses the torque of a petrol chainsaw) Battery last about 1 to 1.5 hours (but the spare one is loaded before that in the fast charger, if your customer allows you to charge on his electricity net) Life of the batteries ????? Price : about 800 euros vat incl. so more than a petrol chainsaw : Pascal
  2. The Husky is very economical on chain oil, about 2 battery charges before it needs an oil refill.
  3. And here it is : "world premiere in Belgium ??? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzTD8lMORds]Husky T536 LiXP presentation - YouTube[/ame] Husky T536 Lixp demonstration - YouTube Pascal The second video does not embed...
  4. Hi, I live near Gent..and indeed a felling license is required for such a tree, over 1 m. Do you speak Flemisch or are you Flemisch ??
  5. What does TPO stand for ? (sorry for being on the other side of the North Sea)
  6. You are absolutely right...
  7. Nothing's secret nowadays  Anyway that indeed looks great, I will discuss it with the owner. Thanks for sharing !
  8. Do you mean this one ? Google streetview is a great thing !
  9. Hi, I have been asked for a quote on this one. The options are felling or reduce it. Will this pine have a future after a serious reduction ? I never done one like this. The reason is because it is blocking the view from the appartments ; this is 4 stories so the tree is a big one....
  10. If you are working in a garden, ask the owner to put a few buckets of water out or the hose, and take a "shower" every hour or so. Done it many times before... I also have a 10 l jerrycan with water in the van, to wash up after the job, when its really hot. Pascal
  11. I replaced the roller for the hydraustatic belt on my Caravaggi stump grinder with an aftermarket roller which I found in a bearings shop (SKF). It is a hard plastic one with bearing pressed inside. Works fine for over 20 hours now, no signs of wear. So try the bearing shop, good luck. Pascal
  12. It can be used on big stumps. Did one oak stump 80cm diameter (about 32 inch) last week and it took me about an hour, cleaning up the chips included. I must say it was sawed low, at lawn level. Pascal
  13. I have a similar grinder from Caravaggi with a 24hp Honda. It works really well, no too hard fysically...not harder than climbing. One good advice, keep the teeth well sharp and the grinding goes faster and easier. [ame] [/ame] Pascal
  14. That is exactly what they told me about my gx670 on my stump grinder, burning oil. So I did it myself, cost me 100 eur for parts and now it runs like a new one. The mechanics these days don't fix anything, they just changes things with new ones...I am fed up with it...so i do it myself. Don't hesitate to open up that engine, it is really very basic and simple. I could do it with my eyes closed Pascal
  15. There are volunteers here in Belgium that keep the war graves in good shape for free ! There is still a lot of respect for the boys who came to the war and gave their life to help us, no doubt about that !!! Pascal
