  9. Your using the device for something its not intended to. Cambium saver is made for this job in hand. Its like using a pole pruner for sending up a truck on the ground.There's always something made to do the job in hand

  13. Just the climb im too used to climbing trees with crowns and have once central point this to me dose not really have a crown.All the waste is being chipped and left on site so are the logs
  14. I normally get a climber in for jobs like this But hes fully booked and i did not check to see if he was free as most of the time he is.I take on stuff i can mange and gain experience that way. I admit it its out of my league by far.There are 4 other tree surgeons around where i live and non of them have any Job goings I've been checking every 3months for the last 2Years

  18. I see what you mean and i will be treating more then just a learning curve.Most of my work has been priced the same as other tree surgeons in the area its the odd job where it gets me. Even if its just a climber on the ground it would give me some confidence and help me out a bit,
  19. Im starting to think that myself now..Im just starting out fully so i need to slowly build up my company I can only pay £200 due to other costs like running my company and making a living. People moan about having lack of work and im offering it. Yes its at the weekend but I would work the weekend Its just another day to me

  21. £200 for both days plus 2 pints Yes i do climb but they are both out of my comfort zone.I can push my self so far then back out i would rather say no then risk it. Access is easy Both next to a drive way. Pics sorry will get some 2morro The ash is covered in ivy 8inch thick and its abit of a nightmare to be honest. The pop is 65ft straight Never climbed a pop before or seen it being climbed so that's the main reason i dont wont to climb it. Why take work when you carnt do it your self? Money's too good
