    ms 361

what is the 441 like compaired to the 361 went to a dealer today and he said he sold more 441 than 361 as the 441 had a large range of bar sizes. it also looks more modern. for my cs 31 i would use the collages 260 and take my own chain.

    ms 361

i just though i have a h/h fitted so that if i ever wanted it i would have it and it is only £50 pound extra. i know its a big saw and have tryed one at work. at collage we run ms260 with 15in bar and i find that their not very powerfull and slow at cutting logs. i like a powerful saw that cuts quick. i will also some times need to run a 20in bar for logging. clicked wrong post icon for thread

  6. TimberCutterDartmoor i also have a ransome MG5 and have toyed with the idear of using it in the woods. was thinking of making up a pto powered winch on the back and some spades. have taken ours to show and have driven around the off road corses only problem is when you hit a log and it justs starts to clime vertical and then you come back to earth with a crash. to make it more stable you could increase the track width by turning the wheels round also did you manage to get the mag as i would also be intrested in getting a copy to see the artical.
